Today we have a "truce" in the temperature values, we did not arrive to 30 degree at noon that, normally, is the time on which I can go for running.

In principle I had planned a very soft fully aerobical session, 40 minutes long, nothing special but, I have transformed it to a more demanding and enjoyable workout:

  • 25 minutes of aerobical run: 5'30"/km in average, 133 bpms in average
  • 3000m in 12'12" so 4'04"/km pace, 163 bpm in average, with a maximum Heart Frequency of 167bpm
  • 500m in 1'55" so 3'50"/km , 170 bpm in average
  • Coold down + Stretching:

Summary of the Running Workout:

  • 8.34 km in 40'.
  • Maximum Heart Beat frequency: 174 bpm's
  • Average Heart Beat frequency: 139 bpm's
  • Total time including cool-down and stretching: 51'
