Kris Joseph, the previous Syracuse University basketball player, has been signed to a professional team in Portugal.
The Portugese team SL Benfica reported that Kris Joseph has joined them on its Twitter page on Monday.The club is situated in Lisbon, Portugal.
Kris, a 6-foot-7 forward, played at Syracuse from 2008 to 2012. The Boston Celtics picked him up in the second round of the NBA's 2012 draft. In two brief encounters in the NBA, Kris played for the Brooklyn Nets and the Celtics. He has played professionally abroad in the past for three different teams in France.
