Carmelo Anthony is officially a Houston Rockets player. The former Oklahoma City Thunder player has signed a one-year contract to earn $ 2.4 million.

It is also rumored for the role that Melo will have on the pitch if he starts the match in the first five or jewelery, but everything will depend on Mike D'Antoni.

The coach himself when asked by some journalists about the issue said Anthony is open to both roles, Top Channel reports.

This deal was rumored to have been achieved more than a month ago, and with Thunder's exchange with Atlanta Hawks everything seemed to be confirmed, as Hawks removed the player from the team by paying $ 25 million.

In 1,054 games played in the career, Melo has started in each of them, and for this reason in the past had stated that he was not sure if he could accept to enter the match.

The 34-year-old is joining a team like Rockets, who last season won 65 games and lost in the final of the conference against the Golden State Warriors champion.

In the new team, he will find the championship MVP 2017/2018, James Harden, and one of his best friends, organizer Chris Paul.
