Dwight Howard was not well-informed, at Instagram he heard that Charlotte was going to trade him to Brooklyn.

He found it on Instagram comment section. He was preparing for a charity event when he saw the news.

"I found out through the comment section of one of my pictures, so I was in total shock about the whole situation," Howard said at FOX Sports Radio.

He was surprised because he thought that it was a good season for him and the Hornets.

He is about to go to Brooklyn, but hopes that the atmosphere will be different.

"Actually what I think is going to happen is there's going to be a buy out and I will make myself a free agent for the summer," Howard added, 32 and seems to be running out of time.

He also does not believe that some teammates are in disguise.

"I just think it's a lot of people making up a lot of different stories and they come up with this narrative about who I am," he said. "My main thing is that I just want to go out there and win and give a team, any team I've been on, the best of me."

Howard joined the league at age of 18 as Orlando Magic's first pick overall in 2004. He moved to the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks before Charlotte Hornets.

When the Hornets defeated Atlanta 129-117 in March, Hawks guard Dennis Schroder said that Howard is good when his opponents are his former teams. If Howard has four teams, that means he only played well four times a year. Five now, as the Hornets have abandoned him.

It is just too sad that Howard, a great defensive player, was abandoned by a team. We know that he is getting older but still he played well and do his very best to win a game.
