Unplayable Aleska Avramović destroyed Anadolu Efes in Euroleague basketball
Serbian Basketball club Partizan Belgrade won yesterday representative of Turkey Anadolu Efes in very important Euroleague game. Final result is 100:90 (17:20, 26:20, 21:19, 36:31). Away side played very good, were almost unstoppable in attack, but Partizan had hero in his squad. His name is Aleksa Avramović and he was totally unplayable especially in the most important 4th quarter. Things he did with the ball and ways how he hit the basket were simply awesome. Team from Turkey didn't have any solution for him! Let me try to explain few situations. He had ball behind 3 pointer line, player in front of him, he moved right and sent 3 pointer bomb straight in. Then he did the same by moving in left side and then was in front of that line and then moved backward and did the same. His flying two pointers after shots with one hand from narrow are also worth of mentioning. Serbian player has been born in city of Čačak in central Serbia like old legend from 70ies and member of house of famous basketball players Dragan Kićanović. Current coach, the best coach on European continent with 9 Euroleagues Željko Obradović has been born in same city too. Aleksa is worthy successor of legendary black and white shirt with number 4 of Kičanović and Đorđević. Like Ameriscan commentator noticed he was totally unplayable in second part of last quarter. Other players had also good game and stats, but this one, this one was simply awesome. This important win returns Partizan Belgrade to winning ways after 3 losses and gives a hope we can fight for play in or play off position. For that to happen we need to close gap toward teams which stands higher than us on the table. With Aleksa returned from injury and playing like this it is not impossible. We just need to protect our basket better, not to allow easy points to other side and catch deflections better. Well done Partizan it was awesome watch.
