Partizan Belgrade won Fenerbahce and Euroleague Janissaries referees!
Basketball Club Partizan Belgrade won Fenerbahce with result of 90:81 yesterday. It was real feat of Željko Obradović's players when we know what kind of Janissary of referees they had in front of 20,000 home fans! I am not exaggerating if I say black and whites won quality opponent and referees all together. Why am I saying this ? First half, clear block by Pokuševski ended in foul and "technical penalty" and we could see Fenerbahce players taking I don't know how many free throws to get ball after for no real reason! In second half yesterday we saw clear disobeying of rules by referees when they canceled Partizan's spectacular "alley oop" basket to give "technical foul" to Fenerbahce coach! Instruction is to let attack flow in such situations and to give foul after! They didn't follow it! Disgrace! They didn't allow the spectacular basket! I couldn't believe what am I watching, that was insolence of the highest order! Well I am sorry lads from Euroleague, but we beat your referee comisioner from Lithuania and the opponent from Istanbul and we did it without few key players who were injured like Vanja Marinković or Iffe Lundberg. The best player was Duane Washington Jr. who made career high of 27 points. The most famous coach on old continent Željko Obradović said "he held class of attacking basketball" in second half. He took responsibility big time in hard times when Fenerbahce started to hit 3 pointers and to reduce Partizan lead. Away side hit 45% of shots for 3 which is very good percentage. I mean after this 3 pointer: he scored for two from this position with foul and canceled that bomb which would break a lot of other teams! Other who I noticed was Aleksej Pokuševski. Young player was great, superb, one of his basket was from like 5 meters from angle after turning around was simply superb, spectacular. He did some blocks and catch some important balls too. Partizan now have score of 8-10 and is again in the game for play off, but it's going to be hard because Lithuanian who is delegating referees obviously can't go past Predrag Danilović's slam dunk over Sabonis or Sasa Djordjević's three pointers on Euro in Athens during 90ies. It's clear he hates Serbian clubs. If Euroleague wants to stay fair competition they need to sack him with immediate effect. This was not first time Serbian clubs have such referring. From 10 losses of Partizan at least 3-4 are setup by referees. We saw same pattern yesterday, but we were just too good. Red Star also lose some games because of non fair referring. I want that Lithuanian Serbian hater fraud sacked. Congratulations to coach Željko Obradović, players of both sides and all involved in this game a part from referees, including fans who managed to stay under control despite they had non fair ridiculous referring.
