Next I chose to bet on the UCL game between: PAOK vs. Spartak Moscow.

PAOK:

  • Comes after the double with FC Basel, which they won in an impressive manner with two wins (2 - 1 and 3 - 0).

  • Has a total market value of 54,50 millions euros. The most valued player: Aleksandar Prijovic (Centre-Forward), 28 years old: 6 millions euros.

  • Squad average age: 26,2.

Spartak Moscow:

  • Has played two matches this season in the Russian Premier League, and they managed to keep the clean sheet in both of them.
  • Has a total market value of 124,40 millions euros. The most valued player: Quincy Promes (Left Winger), 26 years old: 24 millions euros.

  • Squad average age: 27,0.

I expect a hot atmosphere in Thessaloniki with 2 teams who are aiming to qualify to the group stage. PAOK showed his strength with FC Basel and impressed. They played well also in preparation games. Spartak has a strong defence, not taking goal in the first 2 games played, but the attack did not impressed me. That's why I do not expect more than 2 goals. Is the first game and the two managers will play prudent.
