For today I chose to bet on the game between Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Werder Bremen.

Eintracht Frankfurt:

  • Has a total market value of 148,90 millions euros. The most valued player: Ante Rebic (Left Winger), 24 years old: 30 millions euros.
  • Squad average age: 25,1.
  • They lost in the Cup ( 2 - 1 vs. Ulm) and in the Super Cup (0 - 5 VS. Bayern) but in the inaugural round they won (2 - 1 vs. Freiburg).
  • This summer, they lost 4 major players: Goalkeeper Hardecky reached Leverkusen, Kevin Prince Boateng returned to Italy at Sassuolo, striker Marius Wolf was bought by Dortmund, and the veteran Alex Meier has retaired.
  • Instead, they made a 25 million euro acquisition campaign. The most important names are: croatian Rebic, mexican Salcedo, serbian Kostic and portuguese Paciencia, but the player they gave the most money is the 19-year-old french defender Evan NDicka, who was bought from Auxerre with 5.5 million.

Werder Bremen:

  • Has a total market value of 118,40 millions euros. The most valued player: Davy Klaassen (Attacking Midfield): 15 millions euros.
  • Squad average age: 26,0.

  • They won in the Cup ( 6 - 0 vs. Worms) and drew in Bundesliga ( 1 - 1 vs. Hannover).

  • Florian Kohfeldt is the third consecutive coach promoted from the second team after Skrypnyk and Nouri. Kohfeldt's choice is, however, strange because he had poor results in the fourth German league at Werder II and is only 35 years old.
  • They sold Delaney this summer to Dortmund and brought Davy Klaasen from Everton to his place with a profit of 7 million euros on these transactions.
  • In addition, they brought Claudio Pizzaro back. The peruvian striker will be 40 years old in October.

Eintracht is the team with a better evolution in the first game of the Bundesliga and with a more consistent track record on his own ground against Werder. The team in Bremen has been waiting for over 9 years to win away at Frankfurt, and coach Kohfeldt has problems with many injured players. In addition, after winning 2-0 with Freiburg, Eintracht hopes to keep up with the great forces of Bayern and Dortmund. In 9 of the last 10 matches played in the Bundesliga on the Frankfurt stadium fans have seen at least two goals!

My bet: Eintracht Frankfurt or Draw and Over 1.5 goals: @1.88

Good luck to everyone! And don’t forget: in football everything is possible...
