Liverpool v Leicester - Premier League Prediction
All the spotlight will be on Leicester this Sunday, as they clash with Liverpool at Anfield, where they will try to hand the Reds their first defeat of the season and seeing how Klopp's men are holding onto a perfect 7-0-0 score, even a draw would be an achievement. How will the fixture end is anyone's guess, but seeing how hot the Foxes are looking heading into round eight, we can expect an exciting fixture that won't leave anyone indifferent.

Leicester enjoying a hot run
Brendan Rodgers can be happy with how his side have been performing so far into the season, seeing how Leicester are proudly sitting at the third place in the league, barely two points behind Man City and trailing seven points behind the league leaders Liverpool. The Foxes started off their 2019/20 campaign with a stalemate against Wolves, followed with a 1:1 draw against Chelsea in round two, which were not bad results per se, suggesting Leicester will be a solid team in the early stages of EPL. And they managed to live up to the expectations, by racking up four wins and only one defeat in the six EPL fixtures that followed. The only team that defeated Leicester so far were Man United (0:1) at Old Trafford in round five. The memories of their defeat, however, soon disappeared and a 2:1 win over Tottenham in round six surely helped with that. That fixture also seemingly started something in Leicester's squad who went on to trash Luton 4:0 in EFL and Everton (5:0) in round seven of Premier league.
Looking at their most recent fixtures, it's obvious Leicester have no issues scoring goals and their style of play will ensure that will remain the case for the foreseeable future. It's also worth noting in Leicester managed to dispatch Newcastle without James Maddison on their team, meaning his (probable) return on the pitch for this Sunday could result in a massive boost for the visitors
Liverpool's unstoppable run hanging in balance
So far into the season, Liverpool were unstoppable, winning all of their seven EPL games, but that is not to say their performance were flawless. Last weekend we almost got to see Liverpool drop their first points against Sheffield United, who pushed the Reds to their limits. Fortunately for Klopp, Georginio Wijnaldum stepped up with a goal in the 70th minute to keep Liverpool's streak alive. While their performance against Sheffield was far from good, it was Liverpool's dismissal showing against Salzburg in UCL that makes us believe they are very vulnerable.
While Klopp's side walked away with a win (4:3), it was nothing to boast about, seeing how they dropped a 3:0 lead and conceded three goals, which could all be easily prevented. All in all, it was not a convincing performance and if we add the poor showing against Sheffield, Chelsea and Napoli, there is a reason to believe Liverpool just might be running out of steam.
Prediction
We expect this one to be an exciting contest between the league leaders and Leicester, who look very dangerous with their recent showings, who should be able to put Liverpool to a tough test.
Liverpool’s showings in last week were poor to say the least and it seems like Liverpool are slowly dropping in form. And it's not only their 4:3 fixture against Salzburg that makes us believe so. Looking back, Liverpool did not look to sharp against Chelsea (2:1) and Napoli (0:2) either. Leicester on the other side, are unlike Liverpool on the rise which they have shown with some incredible displays in the last three fixtures across all competitions. This will be by no means an easy match for Rodger's men, however, if there is one team that can push Liverpool to the limits and possibly burst their bubble, it's Leicester.
