Above you can see the calculations and picks made by The Reverend prediction model for the Vanarama National League games that are played tomorrow (Tuesday August 07).

Since not all games from the original post have been played I can't publish the results just yet, but here are some preliminary results:

  1. EFL Championship: 4/11 won, negative return
  2. EFL League One: 5/12 won, positive return
  3. EFL League Two: 5/12 won, negative return
  4. Vanarama National League: 3/12 won, negative return

The model did underperformed the first game week and I expect it to do so in the next few game weeks until it accounts for the current season's form. 

I don't need to tell you to use these calculations just as a starting point (one of the inputs) for your own analysis. The model is not optimized yet and with its goal of being profitable over an entire season by playing all the games, picking and choosing games is not the best approach here.
