A few words before we start with the picks for this weekend.
As you know, different EFL leagues have different schedule and that forces me to publish the performance report on different days. For example, National League plays its sixth game week this Saturday and it follows with the seventh game week played this Monday.
Because of that, I'll publish the National League picks for the seventh game week this Sunday and include it in the performance report that will be published this Tuesday with EFL Midweek Action (Aug 21, 2018), this post and the picks for the seventh game week.
Now, let's start with the picks:
EFL Premier League
This game week I expect a high hit rate, but not much profit (if any) because we have three games with very small odds:
- Manchester City @1.265
- Liverpool @1.168
- Arsenal @1.383
EFL Championship
I don't see often this uniform distribution of the picks. The model favors the home sides in all games but the Rotherham v Millwall where it goes with Millwall @2.24.
EFL League One
Here we have much more realistic distribution of the results. Out of these twelve games I would like to point out these:
- Accrington @3.52
- Bradford @2.179
- Burton @2.58
Scaling down these bets could be profitable.
EFL League Two
Here, I like three picks:
- Port Vale @3.51
- Exeter @3.87
- Swindon @2.98
Vanarama National League
Here, the two draws look interesting as well as Solihull @3.50 and Barnet @3.62. Off course, I'd play the scaled down versions of the last two bets:
- Solihull +0.25 @2.03
- Barnet +0.25 @2.04
