In order to make my posts more interesting for the readers I'm introducing a competition of sorts. If you're following my blog, you've noticed the pattern: Two posts with picks followed by one weekly report. From now on, each time I publish the report those of you that left the comments on the posts with picks will get a chance to win 50 SCR.
For this weekend we have 22 picks. Only the Premier League and the Championship are playing while the rest of the leagues are on a break.
Premier League
I don't really like the odds for the most of the matches here so I'm going with:
- Newcastle @2.900
- West Ham @2.330
Championship
A lot if interesting picks here, my favorites are:
- Derby @2.100
- Norwich @1.884
- Nottingham Forest v Stoke - Draw @3.240
We have seen what model's picks are and what picks I'll be submitting for the SBC League. Now, let's talk about how you can win 50 SCR.
On a regular week I have three posts:
- EFL Weekend Action published each Friday that covers the games played from Friday to Monday
- EFL Midweek Action that covers the games played on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- EFL Week XYZ Report published on Thursday that summarizes the model's performance for the picks published in the first two posts.
In order to participate in this competition you have to pick one of the picks from the EFL Weekend Action and one pick from the EFL Midweek Action. The winner is a scorum user with picks that have the highest return.
Since this is not a regular week, there will be no EFL Midweek Action post and the weekly report will be published this Monday instead of Thursday. All you have to do is to leave a comment with the pick you like the most out of those made by my model above.
Let me give you an example:
- User A picks Chelsea @1.423
- User B picks West Ham @2.330
- User C picks Norwich @1.884
Let's say that Chelsea and Norwich win their games while West Ham loses. The winner is the user C since he had the highest odds (@1.884). In case that two or more users have the same result, they'll split the reward.
I believe that I've made the rules clear, but if you have some questions just ask in the comments bellow.
That would be all, for now. Look at the two tables above, find your favorite for this weekend and leave it in the comment in this form: Chelsea @1.423.
P.S. I would appreciate if your comment is more than just Chelsea @1.423, though :-)
