In this post I want to cover a few topics. The first being the performance of my prediction model - The Reverend. The other topics are my betting plan and the future projects that should be announced soon.

The Model's Performance

Before we go into more details we need to talk about the mistake I made and that I'm regretting now. When betscorum did it's first run, I decided to change my approach to blogging here and to direct all my efforts to bringing the action to betscorum. I both succeed and failed in doing so.

Betscorum went down, I stopped posting hoping it will go back online fast. It didn't happen. Waiting for it has been a mistake and it cost me two matchdays that I have not published here.

To date, 23 matchdays were played, but I have the posts just for 21. Never again.

Here's the big picture:

The model did well. After more than a half of season has been played, it made +12.176 units in profit which gives us +5.789% ROI.

Out of 210 games, it predicted the 118 outcomes correctly giving us 56.19% hit rate.

I'm very pleased with its performance, but now I want to show you how the season has played out so far. The reason for it is to highlight the importance of the proper bankroll management. Without it, even with a profitable prediction model you may lose most of your money. Pay close attention to this:

My Betting Plan

My plan is to bring as much action as possible to ScorumBet. My personal profit from betting there is secondary at this point in time and for that reason I'm doing some things that I wouldn't do under the normal circumstances.

Since the re-launch of the betting exchange more and more members are following the model's picks and placing bets on betscorum. For that reason, I'll be continuing with this series of mine. And in addition to the picks post I'll be publishing the performance reports after each gameweek to keep everybody up to speed on how's model performing.

Since the prices move constantly, I'll be judging the performance of the model by the pinnacle odds. If it performs well with those odds, it performs even better with the odds you can get on betscorum.

In addition to that, I'll be matching +EV bets that pop up from time to time that are not related to the EPL and continue to match the members' bets in our #match-my-bet channel.

Things To Come

We are refocusing on supporting the smaller number of the high quality members that are producing the kind of content that's valuable outside this small crypto bubble.

The focus is on the tipsters and I've already talked with some of you about it. In the coming weeks I'll be contacting more with more details. For now, just know that we are working on something that you'll like very much.
