I took a bit of a loss yesterday live-betting the Europa League Qualif match of AA Gent and will try to take things really slowly the first couple of weeks betting wise mostly trying to get a good read on the teams first. Tonight is the first match of the 2019-2020 Jupiler League Season and I'm highly looking forward to it...
Racing Genk vs Kv Kortrijk
Looking back at the results in the first match of the Champion Team there seems to be a clear pattern of home wins going Over 2.5 goals while losing points on the road going Under 2.5 Goals .
Club Brugge vs Eupen FT 5-2 (Odds 1.25)
Antwerp vs Anderlecht FT 0-0 (Odds 1.62)
Mechelen vs Club Brugge FT 0-2 (odds 1.68)
Westerlo vs AA Gent FT 1-1 (odds 1.60)
Anderlecht vs Moeskroen FT 3-1 (odds 1.25)
Anderlecht vs Lokeren FT 2-3 (odds 1.47)
Kortrijk vs Anderlecht FT 1-1 (odds 1.87)
Genk vs Beerschot FT 3-1 (odds 1.49)
Racing Genk seems to be ready and played a good match against Kv Mechelen who honestly was just too poor of an opponent to put much weight to it. I deem it unlikely that they reach the same level compared to last season, but they should be fine with solid replacements. Near the end of the season after Pozzuelo left they played a more counter-style game which I believe Mazu will continue. The blind bets on Racing Genk along with taking the over are no longer for me. Genk will still be without their record transfer Bongonda and Ndongola is also injured while Hagi and Nygren will likely start on the bench. Kortrijk is mostly a big question mark in the attacking line currently. Top Striker Avenatti left along with Ouali and Chevalier while Ezekiel is not ready yet. Vanderhaege is a rather defensive coach especially on the road against top teams and went well under the Asian closing lines over the season in away matches (10 Under -4 Over-1 Push +4.935 Units). Kortrijk this season has the same backline. I don't expect a wide-open match from the start with Genk trying to move forward and Kortrijk mostly luring on the counter. After the first goal things can potentially go quickly though. I took a small position on 1st Half Under 1.25 @ 1.95 but can't say I'm all that confident about it and will keep an eye out live to trade out of it when needed. I pretty much need some strong confirmation or much better odds before I'm comfortable taking bets on Genk and the Over. I'm hoping to get this live in-play tonight.
