Kv Mechelen vs Oostende

KV Mechelen had a hot start of the season but are now experiencing some regression to the mean as they did overperform. Last week against Club Brugge they brought nothing offensively whatsoever and they also were unable to bring much the week before at home against Kortrijk. They now are rather anonymous in 8th place in the safe zone being 3 points behind on a PO1 spot. Oostende is going in the opposite direction after having a really poor period now playing a bit better with Palaversa back in the team. Oostende is pretty poor away from home losing all of their last 5 matches only being able to score 1 goal in those matches. Mechelen has gotten at least 1 goal against in each of their last 9 matches. I expect the focus and motivation of KV Mechelen to be really high in this match as they really need to get something out of it to break the somewhat negative spiral they are in. The main question is if they are capable to do that. I fully expect a furious forward start from them which likely will die out if they are unable to score early on. The only real pre-game betting options for me are Oostende +0.75 and Under 2.75 both based on the numbers. I don't feel the need to get involved in those. Oostende saw all of their last 6 matches have at least 10 corners while 5 of last 7 from Mechelen had this. I do expect a forward start with which likely will result in corners and took a small bet op 1st Half Over 4.5 Corners @ 1.82 with ly betting broker Sportmarket Pro and will look out to potentially take more live.
