Saturday turned out to be very solid live betting wise and I'm definitely growing in confidence again to start picking up more pre-game positions. For now, I will remain cautious in my approach and keep the stakes rather low. 3 matches today and all of them have some potential betting action.
Oostende vs Club Brugge
The first Thing I see in matches like this are the ~1.55-1.60 away odds. If anything they are by far my least favorite and I tend to stay away from those at all cost. Oostende is not safe just yet but also are not really in that much danger being 9 points ahead of Lokeren who lost yesterday and very much look like the team that will drop down. They are in between semi-final cup matches and will very much be taking this match serious since their top priority right now is the be mathematically safe. They would instantly sign for that giving up the cup. Against top teams, they have struggled all season long and the match against AA Gent in the cup was the first time they actually managed to take a point. Club Brugge is a team that has its ups and downs. On a good day, they are invincible but I have no way of telling if this will be the case. I do expect an away win in this match. Their results so far at home against top 6 teams [Oostende vs AA Gent 0-4 | Oostende vs Standard 1-3 | Oostende vs Genk 0-2]. I will watch out live to take the visitors and possibly the over, but I need some confirmation first as often. No Pre-game bets
Anderlecht vs Eupen
Currently, the overall player quality of Anderlecht is just below their standards. This is very much reflected in the lines they are getting. This will be their first home match under their new coach and getting a -1 line against Eupen would be a gift if Anderlecht were anywhere close to the level they are expected to be as Anderlecht. They are in a very tricky spot and in danger of dropping out of the top 6 right now. Eupen has been in a good streak and managed to climb up to the 9th spot only 6 points behind on Anderlecht! I'm expecting them to play this match with the belief they can take something home and might even play to win as they don't really have to fear relegation anymore. Milic was horrible for Anderlecht last match and their defense still is very much vulnerable. The over and Eupen to score or both to score in this match is what I am mostly looking at. I'm not really willing to take low odds though and I do need some confirmation of both the line-ups and play style intentions early in the match. If I had to take something now it would be both to score @ 1.80+
Kortrijk vs AA Gent
AA Gent put a lot of importance on both the cup match and reaching play-off 1 so they can't really rotate their team in this match. They are in a rather tricky spot with a 2-2 draw at home against Oostende having to make the visit this Wednesday. Odidja will be back in the team who is highly important and new transfer Bezus will most likely start on the bench. Kortrijk is an ok team, nothing more nothing less. Coach Vanderhaege mixes up very defensive matches with more open matches depending on the opponent. I am very tempted to take the home underdog Kortrijk +0.25 @ 2.08 and the under 3 @ 1.934 with an eye to trade out if needed and keep the bets if they show to be the right side. I will stay disciplined right now and just keep this match for live betting. the over in corners also very much have my interest.
