These posts contain previews on matches from the Belgian League with some on my personal bets, live-betting angles, Team Form, Injuries and Team News

Good start of the week with as mentioned in yesterday's preview, no pre-game bets but more than 1 live bet in the SBC Discord. It ended up with a live bets in both the first and 2nd half eacht time on the underdog Moeskroen bringing some good profit. 4 more matches today to work with.

Charleroi vs Racing Genk

Charleroi lost last week against Stvv and I doubt they still believe in reaching Play-off 1 now being 4 points behind on the 6th spot with AA Gent being 3 points ahead in 7th spot. Last week Kortrijk was in a similar situation and they won with a 2-6 score so it doesn't mean Charleroi will just let this match pass them by. I opposed Genk Successfully in week 27 at home against Antwerp since they have been nowhere near the form they reached during the first half of the season. This was mostly due to the entire Pozzuelo saga which now has come to an end. He got his transfer to Toronto where he will earn 4 million a season and Genk got 10 million for the transfer. Pozzuelo will also play the last 3 matches from the regular season. The main question is if this will quiet the storm in Genk and if they can reach a better form again the next 3 matches with things being clear now. There has been a flu virus among many of the Genk players and Both Samatta (important striker) and Piotrowski will likely be unable to start. I will just look at this match live and see where I go from there betting wise. No Pre-Game Bets

Kortrijk vs Cercle Brugge

Kortrijk played a crazy high scoring 2-6 match last week against Waasland. I was on the home team and lost that bet. The main factor was a late injury for Waasland Goalkeeper Davy Roef who has been important to his team. The high amount of goals came because of a near to 100% finishing rate. Kortrijk is a team that has been good on the road, but quite poor in their home matches. Cercle Brugge is in a bad streak and did not manage to take a win in their last 8 league matches. They will be without defenders Taravel and Lambot who showed to be important in the past for them to keep up in the back. My eye is on the over in this match and I prefer higher odds since this could easily be another crazy high scoring match. The line was set accordingly though and odds dropped a bit. No point getting in now. I rather wait it out and see if there is any confirmation live. No Pre-Game Bets

Oostende vs Waasland Beveren

Both have been below mediocre teams this season. Oostende will be mathematically sure to stay in the league if they take a point and in a way this will also help Waasland Beveren even though they need a win to be mathematically sure. Oostende will be without Canesin who is one of their more important players and Roef will be back for Waasland Beveren. This could both turn out in a very boring low scoring match or a crazy encounter. I do see Oostende as a bit overrated in this matchup mostly because the 2-6 match from Waasland last week. I took a small bet on Waasland +0.5 @ 2.21 since it also covers the draw. I won't hesitate to hedge out if needed though. I will mostly look live for signs of it being a boring under match and also look to oppose the team that gets ahead. Oostende remain very reliable when it comes down to them giving away a lead.

Club Brugge vs Sint-Truiden

The flu virus has also reached the Club Brugge locker room and both Poulain and Vormer stayed home sick this week. Both Dennis and Mechele (important defender) will for sure be out in this match. Stvv remains to perform good with Striker Boli in excellent form. They are in full fight for Play-off 1 now in 5th place being 5 points clear and any point can be worth gold for them. I do see them scoring tonight and would also not be surprised if they managed to take home a point. The home reputation of Club Brugge no longer is as strong as it used to be after they recently lost points. I would not be surprised to see the visitors continue their good flow to have a fallback when the playoffs start. I split my stakes in this match between Sint-Truiden +1.5 @ 1.91 | Sint-Truiden +0.5 @ 3.396 | Sint-Truiden to Score @1.645 and also took some extra in BTC on the +1.5 handicap on Sportsbet.
