Belgian Playoffs Week 6 Saturday Previews

I took a bit of a hit yesterday (2+ units loss) in the match between Antwerp and Standard. It was one of those matches where the ideas were good but and it looked like an easy winner without a sweat but a light penalty goal along with a last-second goal out of nowhere both in the first half messed everything up. More matches today to hopefully recover some of the losses.

Oostende vs Charleroi

Charleroi now took 3 wins in a row but haven't played all that good really, last week they dominated the match against a very weak Beerschot but again failed to create many big chances. The many goals in that match were quite the joke. Oostende doesn't really have a lot of ambition and was one of the weakest teams in the league this year. Charleroi does still have something to play for. This might be another one of those boring matches without many chances that still somehow ends up having goals. I do think the over line is set too high and took some on Oostende vs Charleroi Under 2.75 @ 1.984 I will see how it goes live and maybe fully middle my position late if possible. I will also be watching the Corners totals and likely take under the moment Charleroi takes the lead. An extra under bet on the goal totals line if that happens is also an option. Both teams have a couple of injured players and goalkeeper Dutoit will be back for Oostende.

Westerlo vs Eupen

This will basically be a friendly match between teams that have nothing to play for. Westerlo showed last week that they have difficulties to score and Eupen played a boring match showing they were not up to it. As much as I hate betting unders in playoff 2 seeing boring matches with goals out of nowhere, I had to take some on the Westerlo vs Eupen Under 2.75 @ 1.96. I will keep an eye on it and trade out if possible/needed.

Moeskroen vs Kortrijk

Moeskroen is not the team any more compared to the end of the regular season missing some of their offensive-minded players along with the momentum. Kortrijk has ambitions to win playoff 2 and is 1 point behind on Union. My lean goes out to the visitors but I need some confirmation first Live

Zulte-Waregem vs Cercle Brugge

Zulte-Waregem is not taking Playoff 2 serious and that is no secret. It seems to be overly calculated into their Asian lines. Cercle Brugge is nothing special and will be without key player Mercier on the midfield while Hazard and Cardona are also injured. Zulte-Waregem is near complete and will have their eye on scoring goal to potentially give Harbaoui some goals in his race to become the league top striker. My Lean is on the home team and the over but I see no reason to get involved pre-game as the live picture of that match could give a lot more info. No Pre-Game Bets

Waasland vs Union

I already previewed this match early this week and am on Waasland vs union Over 3 @ 1.940 | Over 3.25 @ 2.170 | Over 3.5 @ 2.400 The odds have dropped quite a big since which is always a strong indication of having a +EV bet with a good edge. Off course this match still needs to be played. Waasland will potentially drop to the 2nd division after a match-fixing case, so a lot of uncertainty and worries with their players. The line seems too big on Union but I'm not willing to oppose them before seeing how it all plays out early on live in the math.

AA Gent vs Racing Genk

A match between a team in Good form (Genk) and a team in a rather bad form (AA Gent) who on top will play the more important cup final on Wednesday. Their coach said that they will play for it as a 1-5 loss would give them a bad feeling with an eye on the cup final. The final line-ups will be key and AA Gent might rotate tonight. Genk is playing well and should be free having a 6 point lead on their closest competitor. I do expect them to take home the 3 points but can't say they are underrated with a -0.75 line in this away match. I plan on following this one closely live and will see what comes from it betting wise. No Pre-Game Bets
