I try to keep informed of the projects that offer Sports betting on a blockchain and make an overview of news, listings, price evolution,... on a consistent monthly basis.

Market Overview

Not so much individual news this month, but more a general update on the market and how far we are at the moment. The altcoin market had somewhat of a bull run with Ethereum going up by +45% and not all of the betting coins went along but decent.bet (+161%) & Peerplays (+45.7%) did great. Most continue to lose ground though as the adoption simply isn't there just yet and none of the products can really compete with what is out there already for both serious players and gamblers. The only project that came close for me was betscorum but there has been literally no support from the devs whatsoever leaving it at a platform that technically works but with no users or activity whatsoever which is quite a sad thing.

Projects Slow Exit Strategy

Looking at the progress and development of many of the Sports Betting Related crypto projects, it often feels like some kind of slow exit strategy with very little development going on and some empty promises that never really go anywhere. With the interest and enthusiasm of the investors going down it makes for an easy legal way out saying 'sorry we tried but it didn't work out'. It is often hard to estimate what's going on exactly and as far as investing goes there is an extremely high risk involved. Many of the projects that were on the list of 'unlisted projects' that had a website online have also vanished. Some of them that were removed this month...

Dead Projects

Gamblica
This one even has a listing one Coinmarketcap and is trading on Tidex but the website is offline and there has been no social media activity since November 2019.

Myedge
I had a brief look at this 2 years ago (See Post) but their website by now seems to have gone offline...

PredictEV
They were going to be Steemit for predictions and did get to a test phase but seem to have vanished now before getting on ICO or launch. I did make a First Impression Post on it 2 years ago

Proof Of Toss
Another one I took a look at 2 years ago (See Post) which has vanished from the earth with the website going offline

Graz
Same deal, See Project Review from 2 years back where there seems to have been an ICO, now nowhere to be found...

Betrium
The whitepaper is still online but the website seems to be offline. Another project I had high suspicion on when I reviewed it back 2 years ago (Link) which seems to have turned out as another ICO Scam.

Xwin
Exactly the same scenario as the ones above. See Review Post

Let.bet
Quote from my Review Post " some basic research got me to a youtube video that calls the project out as a scam which could very much be the case."

Goal Bonanza
Again Quote from my Review Post "If they are not a Scam, they very much do everything right to make it look that way."
