I'm making these posts weekly as a way to track my personal pre-game handicapping results along with my live betting action on Belgian Teams. These posts will always contain some insights when it comes down to my general approach and what I do to increase my chance of beating the market.

Another quite frustrating week betting wise. I mostly kept a really low profile and avoided getting involved in all the major upset matches this weekend. (Gent, Club Brugge, Stvv, Antwerp & Anderlecht all lost). I was in quite a big position over multiple bets in the Match between Genk and Oostende that all easily should have won, but the 3rd goal for Genk simply did not want to go in leaving me with only a small profit on that one. I clearly dropped some focus on the Standard vs Zulte-Waregem match taking 2 pre-game bets that I should not have taken mostly with the idea that it should be possible to take some profit live. Standard decided to show up and scored the first goal quite early from the first chance which left me with a small loss for the week.

My betting style on the Belgian League is mostly based on volume and taking up many smaller edges. One of the dangers this brings along is that a drop in focus can quickly make things go down hard and mental stability is really important to avoid that. I have been overly busy with things other than betting the Belgian League lately and Betscoum being online again did not help in that regard. I will try to restore the balance after the winter break. There are still 2 weeks left before and I will be keeping a rather low profile betting wise reducing my stakes a bit.

I'm still above the expected profit range which I believe based on previous results is a realistic expectation longer term. I do hope it will break to the upside instead of the downside though.
