I'm making these posts weekly as a way to track my personal pre-game handicapping results along with my live betting action on Belgian Teams. These posts will always contain some insights when it comes down to my general approach and what I do to increase my chance of beating the market.

These final weeks of the season always have all matches played at the same time. This asks for more preparation and brings a very hectic 2 hours of following all the matches at once getting in plenty of live bets. Even though I prefer being able to watch most matches from start to finish live, I also always very much enjoy the furious pace in the last 2 weeks of the season. I made a small overall loss this week mostly due to the 2 biggest pre-game bets losing. (Kortrijk and Waasland vs Zulte-Waregem Over) Both could have easily gone the other way as Kortrijk deserved to score a goal even though Anderlecht did not steal the win. The pre-game bet on Club Brugge 1H easily won but I was unable to get my full stake in pre-game due to Asian bookmaker limits.

The regular season will come to an end next week with 30 matchdays having been played and I already look out to the Play-offs. Usually, I take a less intensive approach to those since play-off 2 is usually not all that interesting and the weather is a lot better during this period making spending time indoor behind the pc betting far less appealing. These reasons along with the fact that the dynamics in the playoffs tend to be very different made me perform less at them since they were introduced. Having Steemit as a way to keep myself accountable really helped last season and I managed to make nearly 6 units profit during them (See Play-Off Results Post).

I only shared actual bets this week in the SBC Discord Server without much overall info on the matches themselves. 4 bets of which 2 winners, 1 push and 1 half loss so results on those continue to be very good overall. I do conder in how far I should put more importance to these in my own staking. They are usually the more confident plays and lately, all the filler bets have been costing me a bit. I will continue the last week as I have done all season long and think about making some kind of adjustment once the playoff start.

I'm still up on the season doing +2.3%. Where I had the idea that I had my expected profit line a bit too low last year when I was doing +7.22% during the regular season on 821 bets, I now think I should probably decrease the expected profit a bit. The overall number of plays has gone up considerably to 1069 bets which will always bring along a decreased ROI. Over both seasons combined, I'm still above the current expected pink profit line though. So for now, I will keep it where it's at.
