I'm making these posts weekly as a way to track my personal pre-game handicapping results along with my live betting action on Belgian Teams. These posts will always contain some insights when it comes down to my general approach and what I do to increase my chance of beating the market.

After 30 weeks that flew by, the regular season in the Belgian Jupiler League is now officially over! The last weeb brought just over 1 unit profit to end it all with a good feeling and fair enough profit over the entire period. I will be making a personal handicapping review on the entire season later this week and also a look forward to the playoffs who start about 2 weeks from now.

I was quite conservative in the last week and managed to make some profit mostly thanks to the pre-game bets I mentioned in the previews on Saturday and Sunday despite starting the weekend out with a loser on Saturday's Proximus League match. This week there were a couple of big underdogs that turned out to be too big. I had bets on both of them (Moeskroen +1.75 & Zulte-Waregem +1.25) but kept my stakes way too low.

One of the things about betting is that it's always easy and obvious afterward. Having to make actual decisions betting decent amounts of money makes everything a lot more complex and it is one of the reasons why so few are able to climb up. I see this also as one of the major contradictions when it comes down to people that claim to be experts or sell their picks as the majority of them still bet rather small stakes in reality. Personal stake sizes by no means is a factor that says it all, but it certainly gives a good indication when it comes down to being more careful who to potentially follow.

Since all matches were played at the same time, I only had 4 live bets on the SBC Discord Server which showed a limited loss going 1 Won - 1.5 Lost - 1.5 Push. I will do a complete roundup on the results from the shared live bets during the regular season probably next week. I will continue my current style of posting and tracking them during the entire playoffs.

The regular season ended with a whopping 1090 bets good for a reasonable +2.47% ROI after a big fast swing up and a long slow grind down to recover a bit in the end just landing below the expected profit. I will write more about the overall results in the season roundup post I plan to make.
