Dear All

Everybody in crypto dreams about the lambo's. I admit, I do too but let's face the truth the market is extremely manipulated. I suggest you to do Dollar Cost Average and to HODL.

What about SCR ?

We have different people here at Scorum. People who are in it for the money and people who work hard to earn some money.

Let's be honest, not all articles deserves an upvote but with the system Scorum worked out, you can also help people who work hard and learn with some upvotes. Those you get into SP which you can transfer to SCR.

SCR has been on coinmarketcap.com since week 2 of August. We saw a spike, which could be a pump and dump, but since we have a small volume, my guess is the team bought some.

Scorum has some competitors, one of them is Steemit and if you look at the graphic of Steemit, it looks unbelievable .

What is the chart of Steem saying?

  1. Spike

Steem soared over 1000% within a few months after it got released. They spiked from 0 => 8 Usd.

It was a good thing until Steem came so popular, people start buying it as an investment and not anymore as a way of payment.

SCR could do the same. The potential is at this moment smaller. But one thing you have to keep in mind, you could not be earlier in the game.

2. Drop of Steem to almost zero

As you can see in picture, Steem went 2 times over the roof but came back to zero 2 times as well. There is only one reason for: Bitcoin (BTC) leads the dance.

One other thing to check is the faster the spike, the bigger the dip. People who bought at the top and didn%% of BTC't sold at the bottom came back after Hodl. Even though it toke 18months.

I am into crypto since november 2017. I made the mistake not to sell and to believe the persons on Twitter or Youtube who say ' they know it '.

I never sold anything but started dollar cost average.

Remember, nobody knows shit, only the whales and the marketmakers do!

3. My personal thought SCR vs Steem

I will not talk about the platforms. I'm talking about the chart.

SCR has a very low marketcap. Low marketcap is more important then the price.

Off course, its all about the price but let's say this easy. The lower the marketcap, the easier it is to double, triple, ...

With Scorum we are good, and that is one of the reasons why we went from place 1729 to top 300 at the moment of writing. With a low sell and buy volume of 14.000usd we managed to have a nice increase.

Market cap of Steem is 25x higher. Steem will face the fact that increasing will need much more volume then SCR.

The only important thing which is still missing is the Total circulating supply. The lower the better for holders, if and I repeat if is is spreaded over many people. Not like BTC which 4% hold  over 90% of BTC

4. My advice

At this moment we are (hopefully) finishing the bear market. Whenever BTC goes up, alts could bleed until BTC is stable. That is the moment alts are increasing. People buy alts to grow the quantity btc in their wallet. When they sell their alts again, thats the moment BTC increases again and alts go down.

This will happen to SCR as well, for sure when they will be able to trade on other exchanges. The daily volume will increase and more volatile charts will be seen. Writers will become part of a game from the buy and sellers

NEVER PANIC!

I expect the chart to go up for some weeks and then drop for 90%. All depends on BTC. After the increase, I expect the first people to take out profits.

Here I advice you to keep on building SP tokens. Whenever SCR is at a nice rate, you can transfer to SCR and then to fiat ( usd, eur, ... ) Keep the money till SCR is back stable and rebuy SCR and transfer those into SP.

Why? It builds up your SP tokens which makes you more important on Scorum.
