Hello everyone. As you might know that yesterday I presented some of the predictions and picks for Bundesliga and Ligue 1. The results were quite reasonable and could have been better if more bets were matched. That might be a problem for now but I think with our combined efforts we would witness an increase in the adoption of Scorum betting exchange as this is a commission-free platform with some of the best odds available after all. To achieve the target, we hope the dev team would try their best to fix the major bugs at its earliest and users may spread the word, provide predictions and place stakes to keep the momentum going. Therefore, I am going to share the predictions and picks for Italian Serie A and Spanish La Liga in an attempt to play my role as better as possible.

  • Italy Serie A

  1. Udinese vs. Bologna

Both teams in this fixture are almost from the bottom of the table but sometimes demonstrate exceptional performance. Such as the visitors defeated Inter with 1 goal to nil in their recent fixture while the visitors pulled a 1 goal draw with Fiorentina. The home team is trying to improve their attack and was able to score at least a goal especially on home grounds while the visitors are focusing on their defense and didn't let their opponents get away with many goals as well. This means that the game would be a close match with probably equal low-scoring opportunities from both ends and even a single goal in the game would probably make a huge difference. Nonetheless, they are an equal match of each other which is also evident from their equally won head-to-head fixtures but the point to consider is that there has hardly been any draw, however, I believe we may witness one this time.

  • Draw @3.0
  • Under 2.0 goals @1.9
  • Bet value: Low

2. Genoa vs. Frosinone

The hosts are definitely in a much better form than before which is evident from their remarkable home wins against Lazio and Atlanta while the visitors are fighting to keep themselves out of the relegation zone but are not catching huge luck. They lost the majority of their recent fixtures and their away form is also not appreciable owing to their poor attack and poorer defense. Both teams only had one head-to-head fixture last year where Genoa claimed a victory and the home teams goal scoring and conceding rate also favors them. Although the hosts have often disappointed us with their poor performance against teams from the bottom of the table such as Chievo and Bologna where they could only pull a draw, I believe they would be able to knock this opponent out considering their home form.

3. SPAL 2013 vs. Sampdoria

Both teams in this fixture are in a strange form and even though the hosts didn't lose many games they didn't win any as well because of which we can see a large number of draws in their stats. The visitors were somewhat better until they faced tougher teams and lost their form. They recently managed to break their losing streak by scoring the only goal of the game through penalty against Cagliari, therefore, it is hard to call that a neat win. In addition, their away form has not been favoring them much. The hosts also have a terrible home form including a poor goal scoring potential which makes the visitors a better side in this fixture. However, considering the visitor's situation mentioned above it would not be comfortable to announce their dominant victory here.

  • Handicap 0.0 Sampdoria @2 seems to be a better option than Away/Draw
  • Small stake on draw @3.28
  • Bet value: Medium

4. Atalanta vs. Fiorentina

This is an interesting fixture between the two teams which are capable of blasting each others net, the one we witnessed a couple of weeks back when none of them were ready to accept a defeat and the match ended in a whopping 3 goals draw. To be honest, most of their head-to-head fixtures ended in draws with just a small percentage of a win for the visitors. The more clear picture of their form is available from the recent fixtures, where the visitors beat the likes of Roma with a massive 7 goals to 1 and pulled a 3 goals draw with Inter while securing another goalless draw with Napoli. Their players, however, seem to like the look of red cards that made them suffer in the fixtures against the underdogs. The home team is also a Titan as they defeated the likes of Juventus and Lazio while having a poorer defense because of which they are a favorite in this fixture. But, I believe they might not be able to pull this one off with such ease and the visitors would challenge their defense once again and might be able to snatch the victory.

  • Handicap +0.5 Fiorentina seems a pretty good option to me
  • Away/Draw @1.98
  • Over 2.5 goals @1.7 or Both teams to score @1.6
  • Bet value: High
  • Best odds for this fixture

5. Napoli vs. Juventus

I might not have to say much about the teams from this fixture here. This is a clash of the Kings of Titans, the clear toppers of the table, teams with smashing attacks while rock-solid defenses. We have all been waiting for this brawl of the year and this makes one thing very clear that it would be a very low scoring fixture. The debate about which team is better can go for weeks and we may still end up saying that there is no statement to say for sure. However, we know that Juventus is claiming the top position but they had a roller coaster ride recently where they even lost a couple of games. While the host's defense was breach-less and even if they were unable to score, they didn't let their opponents touch their nets because of which we can see a series of wins and draws on their stats board. This would be a challenge for the teams like Juventus because they love to score, after all, what did they bring in the mighty Ronaldo for in addition to Costa. But, their strong attack has not been very efficient recently as could be observed from their recent game against Lazio where despite their 2 scored goals, they only managed 6 shots on target and got lucky with a penalty and an own goal by the opponent's player Emre Can. Nonetheless, I still believe that the visitors are a stronger opponent to back.

  • Away win @3.3
  • Bet value: Medium-High
  • Best odd for this fixture

  • Spain La Liga

  1. Real Betis vs. Getafe

The hosts are still the favorite in this fixture because of their previous performance but their current form is not very adequate as they have lost games to teams like Valencia and Rennais. I understand that their opponents were not so bad teams but Betis was expected to overperform them with the stats they demonstrated before. On the other end, the visitors are with high spirits as they are heading towards the next Champions League season. They also have been consistently performing recently as they did not lose a game in their last 4 fixtures, however, the sour point here is their away form which they might not be very proud of. Therefore, their current stats demonstrate that the home team would be a real challenge for the visitors but they might be able to at least pull a draw with chances of a victory.

2. Real Sociedad vs. Club Atletico

A team from 7th place is going to face the one at the 2nd where the hosts have not completely lost their form but failed to bring some results on the road because of which they had a considerable number of draws. But, their home form is relatively better where they have over 50% wins and their defense came to their aid a lot many times. The visitors have recovered and are in a good form with 3 consecutive wins against Juventus, Villareal, and Vallecano. Their away form is as good as the host's home form which makes the things a bit dangerous for the home team. Their head-to-head ties were dominated by the visitors and there has hardly been a draw. Therefore, a tight away win could be predicted here with under 2.5 goals as both sides have a solid defense.

  • Away win @2.1
  • Under 2.5 goals @1.55
  • Bet value: Medium-Low
  • Best odds for this fixture

3. Valencia vs. Athletic Club

Both teams in this fixture have been a bit consistent lately where the hosts surprised us with narrow single goal wins against Betis and Celtic while claiming a handsome victory against Girona at home ground. On the other hand, the visitors were successful in defeating Sevilla and Betis while securing a draw with Barcelona. Their away form is also almost similar to the hosts home form and things might get really tough for both teams to break through each other's defense as both teams would come to this fixture in high spirits. We may either witness a goal from both sides or none at all because a single goal from any team would cause a massive pressure on their defense which may be breached in due time. Their last 2 head-to-head fixtures also ended in draws and we can expect something similar here as well.

  • Draw @3.2
  • Under 2.5 goals
  • Bet value: Medium
  • Best odds for this fixture
