This month started good for me with 1 push and 1 win. The Nations League seems to be a good competition to bet on. Most games are close and hard to predict, but that's exactly why the bookies offer good odds. Due to my betting plan I place only one bet per day on this competition. I'm glad I made this plan, because otherwise I probably had place a few bad bets too. Now I have to examine various games and then place only the bet I feel best about, which I think gives me good results. We will see how this goes on, after only 2 bets it good obviously also only be good luck.

Sweden – Turkey

Sweden

Last game against Austria was lost 2:0. I think this result cannot be taken too seriously to make any prediction as Sweden played only with their B-Team. I think the real strength of Sweden showed in the qualifier and then of course in the World Cup itself. 1st place in a group with Germany, Mexico and South Corea was great, and the win against Switzerland in the next round was pretty good. Only England in a good shape could stop them. Sweden didn't lose any game at home in the last qualifiers, they even defeated France at home.

Turkey

Mircea Lucescu is now a little over a year Turkey's coach. 12 games, 3 wins, 4 draws and 5 lost games are pretty weak stats and thus the team and of course the coach start to be under pression. The 4 place in the World Cup qualifiers was disappointing.

The year 2018 started looking better for Turkey with 2 wins and 3 draws in the 5 friendlies they played. But then came the first official game of this year and the first loss. 1:2 was the final score against Russia in the debut of the Nations League. The game could also have ended in a draw, as Turkey was better in the last 30 minutes, but only 30 good minutes were not enough.

The only official away game that Turkey won recently was against Kosovo.

Conclusion

Sweden seems to be the better team at the moment. The last games showed that Sweden is very strong at home, while Turkey is weak away. All signs point to a win for Sweden. The odds are also pretty generous with 1.95.
