It's an exciting time to be a member of the Scorum community. Shoot, it's an exciting time for all sports fans and bettors too because Scorum Bet is here and live.
I woke up this morning to see hundreds of missed posts and comments in my Telegram and Discord channels. I knew something had happened. Sure enough, Scorum Bet had been launched. I immediately visited the platform to see how it looked and possibly to place a bet or two. All of the available bets are on soccer matches, which is not a sport that I consider myself to be an expert in by any means.
Although I still know very little about the EPL, even after playing fantasy EPL and following my West Ham United Hammers, betting commission-free on Scorum and being one of the first to do so was too good to pass up! I decided to place bets on several of the games so I could really experience the platform and to try my luck at winning some additional tokens.
Here is my first impression of the platform and my first bets on Scorum Bet.
First Impression of Scorum Bet
No beta version of any product is perfect. I was expecting a clunky interface with issues. I shouldn't have since this team hasn't delivered any crappy products as of yet, but I guess I was trying to temper my expectations.
The site is easy to navigate, loads fast, and after adjusting to the format, it's very easy to use. I was extremely impressed. It could still be complicated for people who have never placed a bet before, but with some simple explainer posts and videos, it should be as easy to place a bet as it is to publish a post on Scorum.

My EPL Bets & Picks
Here are my bets for this week's EPL action. As you can see, I'm letting loyalty get in the way of common sense as I placed 13 SCR on West Ham to beat Manchester City. I don't expect this to happen, but with a potential profit of 144.44 SCR, I just couldn't resist.
I do believein my other bets, which include a 25 SCR bet on Liverpool to beat Watford, 6 SCR bet on Chelsea beating Tottenham, a 3 SCR bet on Fullham to beat Southampton, a 3.6 SCR bet on Manchester United, and a 2.5 SCR bet on Bournemouth to either win or draw against Arsenal. AFC is still a heavy underdog, but as they sit just a game lower in the ladder than Arsenal, I think they have a chance at pulling the upset. They have been able to score against the league's best teams and they will at least keep things interesting.
What do you think of the platform and my bets!? Please comment below.
