Last night I managed to win my biggest bet of the season a 50$ bet to win 182$ !!!
I got scared for a moment when the panthers were losing 0-2, I still had hope looking at the way they were playing since they were clearly dominating in term of scoring chances. An overtime "one timer", a beauty that got me in great profit this early in the season.
Tonight Is a major hockey night with 20 teams playing and a great choice of possible parlay bets. Since the new NHL is all about speed , I happen to take this factor as my main criteria when I am chosing my pick. Basically if I have a chance between a very talented team like the Florida Panthers VS the New Jersey devils, I would probably end up picking the devils depending on other factors also but mainly because the speed gap is considerable in this case but that's just my opinion.
My parlay bet for tonight is the following
First I start with the match between the Montreal Habs and the Buffalo Sabres.
Were talking here about 2 teams that have what it takes to be competitive today's hockey. Skills/Speed. Today's hockey relies a lot less on physical play and more on a fast paced skating game.
This is not an easy pick since both teams have a bit of similarities , Buffalo is a bit more talented but the Habs have a chemistry that could scare any team in the league right now. On top of this chemistry, they have 3 lines that can skate and play at a very fast pace and this is one of the main factors of my pick. The other one is the goaltender, Niemi has proven to be a solid backup and would probably be a #1 goalie in a few other teams. On the other side you have Hutton, a good goalie but nothing impressive compared to what the habs have faced lately. To me this match is going to be over 5.5 goals, I could see a 4-2 / 4-3 For Montreal.
My pick: Montreal to win/ Total goals over 5.5
My 2nd pick between the Chicago Blackhawks and the New York Rangers goes to Chicago. Chicago is just HOT this season. Last year their #1 center had a very hard time but he seems to be on a mission this year and Chicago is definetely back to be the offensive force they were a few years ago. Rangers have a few good players but they are limited to the Zibanejad / Zuccarello duo, if these two are stopped which is probably going to be the case , thanks to Chicago's home ice advantage, the Rangers are simply doomed this game. There isn't much to add, Chicago is by far the fastest and the most talented team here, adding the fact that they are playing home would mean only a miracle could turn things around for New York.
My pick: Chicago to win
Total risked so far this season: 91.42$
Total Won: 272.92$
Total Profit: 181.5$
Total Bet Today: 15$ to win 90.08$
