A lot have changed since the last World Cup. In the nations league, both team lost against the mighty Spain. Spain is the team who lost against Russia in round of 16 of the world cup. But the margin of loss for Croatia is unbelievable. They lost 6-0 against the Spanish side, a completely shocking performance for the World Cup finalist. The next generation of Spanish side completely dominated the Croatia. For England, they lost with Spain at home by 1-2. Spain are in top of the group with two win and both England and Croatia are winless.

After the World Cup, England will travel with fresh squad to Croatia but will play without any fans in the stadium. Southgate will bringing Ross Barkley to strenthen the squad. After the World Cup, England played 2 matches, winning one while loosing the other. They defeated Switzerland by 1-0 while lost against Spain by 1-2. Rashford who is in great form scored in both of these games. Croatia in other also played twice after losing to France. They drew 1-1 with the Portugal but lost to Spain by 6-0.
