In today's Europa fixture, I tipped for Istanbul Basaksehir victory, but they fell short because of brilliance of Burnley defense although they dominated. Also, I tipped under 2.5 goals with odd of 1.66 to be safe bet, which worked out. Everyday is not a good day, and you have to move on. The good news is premier league is back, and back with a bang. What will be better news than starting a season at Old Trafford.

For United, the start of the season is not a cheerful one. They had poor pre-season, most of their superstar players are still unavailable because of the world cup, ,and they had no good addition from the transfer market. They have very depleted squad, because of the world cup and the injuries. Major missing will be Lingard, Young, Pogba and Lukaku who are all out because of world cup fatigue. In addition, Matic, Bailly, Herrera, Valencia, Rojo and new signing Dalot are out because of injuries.

Leicester’s on the other hand will mis two of their regular player. Harry Maguire and Vardy will miss the game, and Vardy absence will be big trouble for Leicester. Also, Johny Evans, Nampalys Mendy and James Maddison will miss because of injury. It is not as bad as ManUtd.

Recent Forms:

Manchester United might be in their worse form under Mourinho as seen during tour of USA. They played five games and only manage to win 1 of them. The only victory coming in the final games against Real Madrid in USA. They lost 4-1 against arch rival Liverpool. Coming to Europe, they lost 1-0 against Bayern Munich, which means United managed just a single victory in their last 6 matches.

Leicester managed to win 2 of their 5 friendlies. They started their summer with victory over Notts County and ended their summer defeating Lille by score of 2-1. They drew against Valencia and Akhisarspor and lost against Udinese in this summer.

Head to Head

Source: 11 VS 11

Manchester United and Leicester City have a long history, and dominated by Man Utd. United won 64 times, lost 33 times and drew 29 times in their history.

Last season, United beat Leicester 2-0 at home while drew 2-2 away. The last defeat for United against Leicester came back in 2014 which is only defeat for United in last 10 matches.

Betting:

Though depleted, United is favorite to win this, and victory for Reds have the odd of 1.53 in Bet365. Leicester victory is at 7.50 while a draw at 4.20 but Premier league is always surprises, but its risky though. United victory should be safe to go with.

Over and under 2.5 goals have the odds of 2.00 and 1.80 respectively. As both teams are lacking major players, I predict we won't see many goals. Going to stat, 44% of the goals came from Lukaku, Lingard and Pogba for United who are all absent. Also 57% of goals came from Jamie Vardy and Mahrez who are also absent. But team lacks that attacking intent, and would certainly not be many goals. United are happy to sit back as seen from last season. Thus, there won't be many goals in this match, and I will be under 2.5 goals for my bet at Bet365.

My Betting:

Under 2.5 goals at 1.80
