The shadowed English heavy weight takes the Spanish heavyweight in Miami during the International Champions Cup. This is the final match for the Manchester United before they return back to England, while Real Madrid begins their ICC.

The premier league is yet to start but Manchester United are already in trouble and surrounded by different negative news. And the biggest concern is Jose Mourinho and poor United form. United haven't won any of their game in regular time in their pre-season matches in USA. There are questions coming about the future of Mourinho. Mourinho criticized his own player after United were left without a single win in 4 preseason matches. He also couldn't make any impact in transfer market this season, and it is going to end by August 10. There are not even rumors about the big signings.

The poor form for United continued against Liverpool in ICC, as Liverpool defeated United by 4-1. United team was so vulnerable in the second half that they conceded 3 goals in 15 minutes. But, Liverpool played with most of their first team, while United had reserve. But, there were some regular first choice player like Sanchez and Mata who couldn't make any impact.

Today is the final chance for United to make any impact before returning home and would look to win against Madrid. But Madrid is in the new era, after selling their ever present forward Ronaldo after 9 years. Zidane have left them and the new boss Lopetegui started his career at Bernabeu with lots of controversies. It is also their first match in ICC cup.

But for Real Madrid, they have comparatively stronger squad with most of the big guns like Bale, Benzema, Isco, Kross, Ramos, all available to start. Lopetegui wants to start his career with a victory, and should be comfortable with the winless  United team without a single victory in the campaign.

Head to Head

Real Madrid had always been a better team against United. In their previous 11 competitive matches, Madrid won 5 of them while lost 2 of them. The 4 matches ended in the draw. Real Madrid should be comfortable here again, and maintain the impressive record against United.
