Arsenal had excellent pre-season winning 8-0 against Boeham Wood to start the season. They drew 1-1 with Atletico Madid and thrashed PSG 5-1. They again drew 1-1 with Chelsea and finally ended the season with 2-0 victory against Lazio. Aubameyang scored majority of goals for them.
ManCity didn't had good pre-season and started with defeat against Dortmund and Liverpool. They defeated Munich in final game in USA and won impressively against Chelsea although they had major player missing.
