In the group F, Manchester City emphatically defeated Shakhtar Donetsk as Jesus got the hattrick. Lyon and Hoffenheim got 2-2 draw, both team getting 3 draw each in the group so far. City are at top with 9 points, Lyon are at second with 6 points while Hoffenheim are at third after 3 draws. Shakhtar Donetsk are at bottom after 2 draws with 2 points. All the 4 teams still have chances to progress to next round.

Real Madrid and Roma are at top with 9 points each after winning the respective matches in Group G while Viktoria Plzen are now out of the Champions league. In Group H, Valencia won the match to stay alive in CL but Manchester United unexpectedly won against Juventus to strengthen the chances to qualify to next round. Juventus are still at the top of the table with 3 wins.
