Coming back at you with some of the best odds on this afternoon's FA Cup clash between Chelsea and Manchester United and 2 Premier League fixtures
This is of course round 2 of London v Manchester, capital v Northern powerhouse in the FA Cup. So far it's very much us Southern shandy drinking fairies who are coming out on top after Arsenal put in a magnificent display to knock Manchester City out. The starting odds on this one are rightly a little tighter than the match yesterday so I'd be interested to hear your predictions.
The big question for me is how much of a priority is the cup for these 2 clubs? Alongside Leicester, these sides are separated by just a point with 2 games remaining in the Premier League season and only 2 places in next years Champions League available. By the time this game kicks off, both will know whether Leicester have managed to sneak ahead following their game at Spurs.
United of course still have to play the Foxes in what will be a crucial last game of the season while Chelsea have tough matches against Liverpool and Wolves to come.
Both sides but particularly United have used squad rotation for their previous FA Cup fixtures this season. Solskjaer would not be drawn into speculation about team selection during the pre-match interviews but it is noticeable that he has stuck with largely the same 11 for all the Premier League matches since the restart and I think he will make significant changes today.
During his post-match interview after the win against Norwich, Frank Lampard certainly seemed to suggest that his side were still very much focused on the cup. With City out, it's an interesting scenario with 3 perhaps underachieving clubs and 3 young managers all looking for a first major trophy. Ultimately, managers of United, Chelsea and Arsenal will need to get used to challenging for trophies on multiple fronts and this will be an opportunity for 1 of them to show they can do just that.
Elsewhere Bournemouth play what is likely to be the biggest game of their relatively brief Premier League history and to add even greater significance to the occasion it is a South Coast derby.
The Cherries were much improved against Man City in the week and of course managed a brilliant comeback against Leicester last weekend. However, in Southampton, they face a side that has only lost once since the restart and who have been particularly effective on their travels this season.
Higher up the league, Leicester travel to Spurs hoping to move ahead of both United and Chelsea. The Foxes form has been patchy since the restart but they engineered a good win against Sheffield United last time out.
Spurs meanwhile are looking much more like a Jose Mourinho side having conceded just twice in their last 4 games. Their home form all season has been very good and a Leicester side with injury problems will have to play very well to gain maximum points from this fixture.
I'm offering some very good odds on all 3 games + you'll find generous offers on under/over 2.5 goals
I'm also sending a couple of our new users 10SCR with the hope they'll use it to stake a bet on a match today. Both @petergains and @wumeepope expressed an interest in actually taking advantage on the best odds on offer at 0% commission. These 2 users are both clearly mad but I am happy to encourage this type of behaviour in the hope that it might rub off on a few of the more established names who talk the talk but refuse to walk the walk on a platform centred around a betting exchange.
