I am thrilled to announce my 35th Scorum Sports Cast! You can find me @thesportsguru and I will be giving you the best 5-10 minute sports rants here on Scorum every day. On today’s episode, I will introduce PROFESSIONAL SPORTS GAMBLER ACE VALENTINE TO SCORUM!!!!

I have been waiting a few weeks for this opportunity to bring on a very good friend of mine that makes his living by betting on Sports. Ace Valentine has been hustling and fading bookmakers and casinos for 3 decades now. I first saw him back in 1996 when I was a freshman at the University of Iowa and he was on a Saturday morning gambling show on cable television. I loved betting on college football and we would get up at 7am every Saturday morning to watch the show and get their picks.

Ace will never show you his face, but this is James Woods "Lester Diamond" from the movie Casino and reminds me of Ace

But then in 1999 when I was celebrating my 21st birthday in Las Vegas, I ran into Ace at an after hours bar. I went up to him and introduced myself and told him that I was a big fan and followed his picks every week. The gambling show was legal but gambling on sports was NOT legal, other than in Nevada. Due to that, Ace has stayed off of the TV and Internet and mainly bets for himself and a handful of clients he has.

One of Ace's "conquests"

Ace has been on our radio stations from time to time over the last few years and I finally got him to agree to jumping on the Scorum Sports Cast once a week. He is old school, has some great stories, and has lived one hell of a life. Hopefully he will let me write a book about him someday. But in the meantime, CASH IN ON HIS PICKS! This is his game of the week. I won’t tell you why or which team to bet, you have to listen to the show to get it. Good luck and CHEERS TO THE RETURN OF FOOTBALL SEASON. And btw, I did start off 1-0 with my Tulane pick from last nights show 😊

I would love to tell you all about it in my new Scorum Sports Cast. To check out my 35th show, just click the play button below. I look forward to hearing your input and comments. Cheers!
