I know you will be tempted to view this topic to know what it's all about.😃 Anyway, it's nothing serious. It's just about how my bet went today.
I'm just a person that is not really lucky when it comes to betting and that's the more reason why I don't really participate in it but something always find a way pull me back even when I swear I will never go back to it😃
Today, I was tempted to deposit some money in my Bet9ja account to bet on Liverpool VS Tottenham match. Since it was going to be a tough match for Liverpool, I felt it might be risky to bet a win on them so I decided to place bet over 3.5 corners on Tottenham @1.97 odds. At least I expect some attacks from them that would lead to corner kicks
The game started and barely six minutes in the game Tottenham had their first corner. I needed three more corners from them to win my bet but the first half ended without any other corner from Tottenham.
Throughout the second half, they only managed to play just two corners which made it three but I needed one more but it never came till the match ended. I was a bit depressed I lost heavily on the match and I wanted to get my money back from them 🤑
I credited my account directly from my back bank account when it was time for Real Madrid so that I can at least recover my losses but I got the greatest shock when Huesca net their first goal within the next three minutes 😏
Madrid still managed to equalize and added another to make it 2-1. I was given an option to cash out when Madrid was leading 2-1 but I never wanted to do that because 40% of my potential winning would be deduced if I cashed out while Madrid was leading.
I wanted my full winning intact so I didn't cash out. While I was hoping the match shou;d end that way, a goal from Huesca that made it 2-2 nearly gave me HBP. I began to sweat profusely when the game was almost ending in a draw and I began to regret why I didn't cash out instead of losing completely.
The winning goal for Madrid came in the 88th minutes which was a celebration galore for me. I was the happiest person at the viewing centre when the goal came in for Madrid because I wonder how the mood I would spent the rest of the week if I lost a whooping sum of money just because I was busy chasing my losses.This week would have been a mad one for me because I actually invested what i couldnt afford to lose
Anyway, it's gone and I won today.. Maybe this is another lesson for me to desist from betting since I'm not lucky with it 😁
