Boredom in Basel for our Tobias last night, as a 1-1 draw with Thun left him a couple of goals short. Merely a scratch on his glittering armour though, after he nailed five winners in seven days.
We'll kick off our week in one of our favourite football haunts, the Swedish Superettan. Mid-table Osters are up against promotion-chasing Falkenbergs, and the visitors' excellent away record suggests they shouldn't be outsiders to win the contest.
Falkenbergs have hit a purple patch in recent weeks, winning their last three matches in league and cup, scoring nine goals in the process. Their away record in the league is outstanding, with seven wins in ten road trips, and only one defeat. That loss was in their last away game in the league, a 3-2 reverse at Frej, but I don't believe that should be a cause for panic.
Osters have won just twice on home soil in the Superettan this term, and although they are unbeaten in their last four outings at the Myresjohus Arena, that shouldn't justify them being favourites here. They have won just three of their last 15 home games in the Swedish second tier.
I'll back the visitors with a bit of insurance by using the Draw No Bet market.
Lets hope who win we only bet.
