The EPL is back and the game week 5 will kick off in a matter of minutes.

I have put together my top 3 picks for the weekend

Manchester United vs Leicester city

Manchester united are on a run of 3 matches without a win. The last match they won was their first league match against Chelsea. They have since drawn 2 and lost 1 of the following 3 matches. The pressure is building on Solskjaer little by little and he would like to see out a win here. The match is surely going to be a tough one as the absence of Paul Pogba, Martial, and a number of doubts means Manchester united have to do it the hardway. They face a confident Leicester side. Leicester have seen a change of fortunes since Brendan Rodgers took over. They are more solid and attacking. The likes of Maddison, Youri Tielemans are the creative force driving the team forward. They know this is not an easy game for them and will be prepared for anything Manutd bring forward.

They have scored in all matches except their first match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Manchester united have not been convincing this season, they got lucky against Chelsea and have been exposed so far in their last 3 matches. This is an open game and I see goals at both sides

Both teams to score Yes at odd 1.78 on betscorum

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace

Tottenham have not started the season on a good note. They are not yet convincing. They are being plaqued by defensive issues. They have conceded 6 goals in just 4 matches. That is a source of concern for any manager. Their collapse at Emirates having held a 2 goals lead is a reflection of their previous league matches. They face Crystal Palace who won more points away last season than they did at home.

Crystal Palace will be expected to defend deep and try catch Tottenham on the counter. That was how they defeated Manchester united at Old Trafford and will replicate the same thing against Tottenham. It is up to Spurs to prevent such counter attacks. I don’t think the goal margin in this match will be more than 1.

Crystal Palace +2 handicap at odds 1.72 on betscorum

Wolvehampton Wanderers vs Chelsea

The blues travel to Molineux Stadium to face Wolves. This is one exciting match. Wolves matches vs any top team is always exciting. You know they won’t give up easily. A number of Chelsea players are unavailable for this match. Kante and Emerson are unavailable which means Kovacic and Marcus Alonso may be drafted to the first eleven. Antonio Rudiger may be set to make his first appearance of the season. This doesn’t change anything in the Chelsea backline that has conceded 9 goals this season. As a matter of fact, the defense is even weaker than before. Azpilicueta has been out of sorts and his position is being targeted by opposition teams. Marcus Alonso back in the team means another weak area in the left back position. He often attack forgetting to come back and defend. There is no Kante to cover for them in case of any counter attack.

I believe Wolves can steal a result in this match.
