It's the EPL Game week 3 and newcomers Norwich face London giants Chelsea.
It's a match that promise to provide many excitements for football fans. Newcomers Norwich will be looking to improve on their good showing against Newcastle and Chelsea are still looking for their first win of the season.
Norwich
The championship winners have taken EPL by storm. They lost their first match against Liverpool due to giving the Reds too much respect. They started late seeing them concede 4 goals in the first half before getting a consolation goal courtesy of Teemu Pukki.
That was the motivation they needed for their next match. It's not easy to score UCL Liverpool in Anfield and a newcomer just did it. They went on to beat Newcastle in their next match by 3 goals to nothing. Teemu Pukki got 3 goals in that match. They are generating momentum.
They face Chelsea next and this won't be like the Liverpool match. Their will be no respect here. It's going to be fire for fire as they will hope to snatch a win against the erratic blues.
Chelsea
Frank Lampard knows it won't take long before the alarm bells start ringing. A loss to Manchester united and a home draw against Leicester means they are 5 points off the league leaders. That's how the trophy leaves you little by little unless you do something fast.
He has been facing injury problems as some players are not yet fit. Kante was rushed in and he is a doubt for this clash. Rudiger, Loftus Cheek, and Hudson Odoi is another key player that is out injured. Their absence have forced Lampard to make some changes to the first eleven and the result is visible.
Chelsea play like a cheap battery. They play well in the first half and tire in the second half. This affords their opponents to attack and get one or two goals. It's a source of concern for Frank Lampard and he will look to address that.
Prediction
Norwich have always been a team most top 6 clubs beat in the EPL. Their attacking style of play have always leave them vulnerable at the back. They have sticked to that tactics and while it favoured them against Newcastle, it won't favour them in all matches.
I don't think beating Newcastle is a big thing. They will be the crying team of EPL this season. Benitez ensured their survival in the EPL last season by utilizing a defensive formation. They have nothing to offer and any team will beat them. Chelsea will be a different ball game for Norwich.
Chelsea have now played 10 away matches and won just 2. The 2 wins came against Cardiff and Fulham. It's a source of concern for them. They have been unable to win comfortably on the road. They will be expected to dominate this match with Norwich playing on the counters. They have been poor defensively and that doesn't look to end in this match.
Tip
Over 2.5 goals. A 1-2 looks likely with Chelsea winning at the end of the day.
