This week the Swiss Super League and the Spanish La Liga do not take a break and give us lots of games to bet on. I picked 4 games for today. Grashoppers Zürich – FC Thun It's not usual to find FC Thun this high on the table. Currently they are 2nd and are playing really attracting football. With 16 goals in 7 games they have the best attack of the league after the Young Boys, who currently play in their own league. Quite the opposite in Zürich. With only 7 points in 7 games they occupy currently the 8th position. They only won 2 games so far and only against the two teams that are below GC on the table, Sion and Xamax. The head-to-head of the last 6 games looks also good for Thun with 4 victories, 1 draw and only 1 defeat. I think FC Thun will win today in Zürich. Real Sociedad – Rayo Vallecano This seams an easy one for Real Sociedad. Rayo Vallecano has problems adapting to the Primera Division, they only won against the also recently promoted Huesca. Last game they lost against Alavés with a heavy 1:5 at home. Espanyol – Eibar Espanyol has won every game at home so far, the first one against a team like Valencia who plays Champions League. Last game in the Bernabeu they made a really good effort and were near to take a point home from Madrid. I think they have a very solid team this season and are serious candidates to end in the top 8 and qualify for the Europa League for next year. Eibar is strong too, they have the same amount of points as Espanyol (7 in 5 games) and they did get a point home from Madrid, but this was against Atletico and not Real. The head-to-head is on their side with 3 victories, 2 draws and only 1 defeat. Last year they even won in Barcelona with 0:1. I think the home factor will help Espanyol, if they can go on like in the last game they have good chances to win. Atletico Madrid – Huesca I know that almost everything speaks for a win for Atletico. I think Atletico is weaker now than they use to be. After a bad start they now won 2 games in a row, but maybe today they will again have a weak day. I saw a few games from Huesca and I think they are undervalued. Of course they lost 8:2 in Camp Nou, but they had a good start and the game was 2:2 after 30 minutes. The 2:2 in Bilbao was also a sign that this team has serious potential. I just think Huesca has more than 6% of chances to win today. That’s why I decided to place a DNB bet for Huesca. Then again, when calculating if DNB or X2 is the better choice, the X2 has the better odds. I decided to go a bit up with the stakes for X so that even with a draw I can make a little profit. DNB or 1X / X2 For the games GC - Thun and Atletico - Huesca I basically placed a DNB (Draw No Bet). I just calculated, that my potential profit is higher when placing two separate bets.
