Partizan Belgrade will play Lugano in Switzerland tomorrow in qualification for Europa League. First leg ended in loss of 0:1 after unbelievable behavior of Dutch referee who deliberately didn't want to give two fouls for yellow cards over black and white Firmino Saldanha as well as one clear penalty after Lugano player stepped on foot of our player deep inside the box. Game revealed Lugano is not anything special, it's team on level of Partizan or maybe very little better.
However Partizan coach Aleksandar Stanojevic used this pre Lugano match press conference to point out how corrupted domestic Serbian league is. He told it's very suspicious and that very high ranked politicians influence Serbian football in very bad way trying to rig competition for Red Star. During weekend Partizan played IMT away in town of Zaječar and there was big very suspicious decision by referee and VAR room. He said that "person involved in politics" Santlac is delegating referees and asked how is possible that the best referee of Serbia Srdjan Jovanovic can not be involved in "eternal derby" (match against Red Star), just because Red Star doesn't want him like ref! Then last season we have joy to watch prison guard and according to journalist Zeljko Pantic "red star hooligan" who is insulting Partizan players on the pitch screaming on some of them "shut the fuck up", giving Red Star penalty, letting goal after blatant foul and converting Partizan victory into draw and loss in two games. He asked also how is it possible to change rule about "bonus players" just because it's convenient for Red Star 5 days before season started ? How is forcing team to put player under certain age no matter if he is domestic or abroad player going to help Serbian football ? How will developing African teenager is helping Serbian national squad ? He told rule will be non existent in next season.
In his rant he told all above things are preventing football workers to work normal in this sport and that he doesn't care if they sack him. He mentioned threats he received during his last mandate as Partizan coach. He didn't but he should also mention half dark conditions of playing match between IMT andPartizan because flood lights can't be turned on in full power because half of city might loss electricity if that happens. LOL!
He could mention also how is regular competition where Red Star is competing with clubs run by Red Star ultra fans, how sons of Zvezdan Terzic director of Red Star can be in charge of OFK Belgrade and play against their father who is chairman of Red Star ?
Yes state helped us to get licence for competition, but that doesn't mean they can humiliate us like that! He said. That what he went through in Zajecar is 1% of things coaches like Savo Milosevic, Bata Mirkovic, Djukic and others went through in previous seasons! UEFA is of course silent on this political influence because they are probably too busy receiving money from Qatar.
