In yet another amazing pickup from the DAZN organization...

...we get to see Claressa Shields back in action under the Matchroom Promotions and Eddie Hearn banner once again in Kansas on November 17th.

This 165-168 Olympic Gold Medalist is at the top of her craft, and although she is quite bold and brash in her confidence and self motivation, she isn't wrong in claiming that she's the best women's fighter in the world.

From the Braekus' and Holms of the world, we now have the new era of fighter with the likes of Claressa.

Solid fundamentals and the likes of Shakur Stevenson in her camp helped mold the Olympic hopeful into a certified assassin in the ring.

Her next opponent in Hannah Rankin is nothing special, and although some may consider this a mismatch, it isn't because Claressa doesn't want the best compeition.

Christina Hammer and the likes of other top 5 fighters have not been eligible to fight for health reasons, and most simply don't want to deal with the immense skill set that Claressa brings to the table.

It will be a wonderful day when we can see a boxing superfight headlining two women, but Hammer would need to get her act together since she has a solid skillset herself.

The tutelage of Andre Ward and motivation of new era greats like Terrence Crawford keep Claressa shooting for the top, and don't be surprised if she is a pound for pound fighter in a couple years... woman or not.
