There are so many excellent prospects in boxing and then there are some who seem potentially destined to become crossover stars. I think Elvis Rodriguez may have the best chance of becoming the next crossover store. You can see from this video montage how skilled he is for having under 10 fights. He's a call southpaw with speed power and tremendous technique.
Hailing from the Dominican Republic (shout out to Elis Pacheco) he's the guy Freddie Roach said is the future of his entire gym. Normally you take that type of hyperbole with a grain of salt but it seems pretty real with this guy. The only slight trepidation I have is that a guy I previously thought could have become a crossover star Juan Manuel Lopez (who actually had a similar Style) ended up having a really disappointing second half of his career so nothing is really certain.
