Remembering the good old match between the boxing Great Sugar Ray Robinson with the boxing sensation Jake, it was one of the greatest match up in the history of boxing considering how both were so good back in their prime.

Sugar Ray Rob. Has always been the best and always comes out stronger whoever he faces but it wasn't an easy fights when he meets Jake In 1945. Though Sugar Ray Robinson beat Jake La Motta by a 12 round split decision in bout 5 of their 6 fight series but the fight really was an interesting match as Jake gave his all against one of the boxing legend..

Even though Jake lost four of those five fights, I always remember that he's the only fighter that beat Sugar during Robinson's prime. Ray won his first 40 fights, lost to Jake, then went undefeated for another 91 fights.

Jake doesn't get enough credit in my estimation.
