Hall of Famer Coach Freddie Roach is open to the possibility of a reunion with Pinoy legend Sen. Manny Pacquiao.

According to Roach, it is undeniable that even though they have not been talking for more than a year, the eight division world champion is still considered to be a friend.

“If Manny asked me to get on a jet and train him for free, I’d be the first one on the plane. We have a lot of history. Manny’s my friend. Money … I have enough,” pahayag ni Roach.

The veteran trainer said, he is uncertain as to what he said to Pacquiao after the controversial fight with Jeff Horn last 2017 which lead to flaw of their relationship.

“You know, Manny,” wika ni Roach, “being a senator and a world-champion boxer is very difficult. … I know you’ve always multitasked, but you might want to think about doing one before the other.”

Roach further asked Pacquiao if he was angry with him, but the Filipino champion just smiled.

Since then, according to the coach, they did not talk.

Roach said several times that he did not want to continue his career in boxing so he could focus on his job as a senator.

In April, Pacquiao withdrew from Roach on which Buboy Fernandez replaced him as a head trainer who is his childhood friend.

Pacman has said earlier that he may considered to work again with Roach in the future.

Remember, Roach was one of the first to be with Pacquiao while winning the boxing crowns.

I think they only had a misunderstanding. In order to avoid this kind of situation, they should talk to each other so that they would know what's wrong. Maybe Pacquiao misunderstood Roach on what he said to him or the other way around. One of them should initiate in order bring back their strong bonds. They fought many fights and been together for many years.
