UP LEFT: Deontay Wilder, DOWN LEFT: Andy Ruiz Jnr, MIDDLE RIGHT: Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury recently put pen to paper. Signing a battle deal that has been tagged “The clash of the heavy weight titans”.

A battle which is most likely to determine the true king of the heavy weight division.

Restoration of shattered reputations

For sometime now, the conquest of Joshua and Fury have stayed in the mouths and hearts of many boxing fans. Fury defeated Deontay Wilder, while Joshua defeated Andy Ruiz. Dillian Whyte was also humiliated as well.

However, it looks like the underdogs may be making majestic returns to the ring sooner rather than later.

Dillian Whyte

Whyte has made some great statements for himself after defeating Alexander Povetkin.

A fight that proved Whyte is getting back to his best.

Deontay Wilder

Despite his defeat to Fury, Wilder is still held high by many and is believed to be back in fine form soon.

We are not to forget in a hurry, Wilder’s first outing with “Gypsy King” Tyson Fury ended in a draw.

Wilder is a complete and fearless boxer. A desperate quest for redemption is highly anticipated.

Andy Ruiz Jnr

Andy Ruiz Jnr has constantly posted his training videos on his social media handles. He has also voiced his view on the ‘Big British Showdown’.

That obviously is a good sign. He most probably is looking at a return to the ring.

Conclusion

No doubt, the ‘Big British Showdown’ fills the boxing headlines presently. Nonetheless, the likes of Wilder, Whyte and Ruiz could be in line to restore shattered reputations.
