It was just recently when Amir Khan manages to win against Colombian fighter Samuel Vargas in a unanimous decision with their twelve round of boxing match. Amir Khan said he is ready for Pacquiao and would like to fight with him inside the ring. I can see that Amir Khan is quite confident now to fight Manny Pacquiao after his two streak wins. This possible fight would be a test for Manny Pacquiao if he can still handle other young boxers despite his age.
Manny Pacquiao who has stated that he will not be retiring and will still continue with his boxing career after a successful recovery match against Lucas Matthysse. That results determined that Pacquiao still has the power to match other young boxers. He does possess his speed, agility, and power to perform a better performance inside the boxing ring. Pacquiao who is now holding Welterweight Title, he is now seeking for a better fighter for his next match. Amir Khan is one of his lists aside from Terence Crawford, who has an upcoming match this October.
During Pacquiao's fight with Lucas Matthysse, many boxing fans thought that the power and speed that Pacquiao has will be easily be countered and match with Matthysse but it was a mistake instead the fight ended only in its 7th round. I would say that Pacquiao's strength and speed as a boxer are still there and he can still exchange punches with other young boxers in the ring.
Aside from Amir Khan, another boxer with the likes of Kell Brook does have an interest in fighting Pacquiao in the ring before he totally retires. It would be an opportunity for any boxer that could beat a boxing famous and at the same time once a pound-for-pound title holder.
Amir Khan confident he could knockout Pacquiao
Amir Khan is really proud to tell all the boxing fans watching his fight against Samuel Vargas saying that he can handle Pacquiao and even put him into a knockout. I think this challenge to Pacquiao will result in a possible boxing match. This is to know if Amir Khan can really perform what he has been saying to many Boxing fans or it will just only talk and not in action. And as for Manny Pacquiao, it is another way to prove that he is still capable of dealing a kind of boxer like Amir Khan.
Their possible match is also one of most awaited match aside from a Crawford-Pacquiao match.
