There was a Philippine boxer which has a great possibility of becoming great during the height of his prime. Every Filipino are eager to watch his excellent blow by blow performance inside the boxing ring. His name is Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista who achieve a streak win and never been lost to anyone. I can still remember that his fight with Daniel Ponce de León of Mexico was over hype by national television advertising and that Filipinos are so excited about it. Some end up betting with other individuals to make it more interesting to watch.

Many predicted that Rey Bautista will win the fight because of his speed and that Ponce de León lacks on speed. That fight Rey and Ponce is the main event and it was a series of fights between both Filipinos and Mexicans. Before the main event, all of the Filipino boxers won against Mexican boxers and that Filipinos are waiting and excited for the main event. Rey's coach at that time is Freddie Roach which most of the people expect with a high-quality boxing.

As Rey gets into the ring, I see the fire inside him and that he is really confident that he could put a good fight and possibly knockout de León. As the bell rings, a series of exchange blows between the two boxers and that I can see how much power de León released in every blow he made towards Bautista. After Bautista's several blocks from de León's fist, some of those punches went in and which results in Bautista to received enough damage and that he falls down for the very first time.

Bautista still has the passion that time to continue the fight but de León never give a chance for Bautista to recover since it was around less than a minute remaining on that round. Bautista hit by another power punch from de León which results of being in totally knockout and has been immediately stopped by the referee to avoid further damage.

But the journey for Rey Bautista never stops there, he continued his boxing career and still able to achieve some winnings after his loss against Daniel Ponce de León. But still, some Filipino boxing fans lost their confidence in Rey Bautista due to his failure to give people a good fight against Daniel Ponce de León. Rey Bautista retires with a boxing record of 36 wins and 3 lost.

Sometimes career changing fights does have a big impact towards every boxer and by that, they need to win or give a good performance in that boxing match or else they will lose the opportunity to become a famous boxer. Sometimes boxers need people's support to be able to become famous especially boxing involves a big amount of money.
