This iconic photo was taken by photographer Neil Leifer. The photo shows a top-down view of Muhammad Ali shortly after his technical knock out victory over Cleveland Williams in their 1966 heavyweight title fight.
The photo was taken in the Houston Astrodome, Texas in November 14th 1966. Leifer managed to get this shot with a camera that hung on the rafters above the ring. Leifer considers this photo as his favorite in all of his 40 years of professional photography career.
