The fight for the WBC light heavyweight title between Ukrainian Alexander Gvozdik (15-0, 12 KOs) and the current champion for this version of Adonis Stevenson (29-1-1, 24 KOs) will take place on December 1 in Montreal. This was announced by the President of the World Boxing Council Mauricio Suleiman.

Initially, the Ukrainian and the Canadian had to fight on November 3rd. The reasons for the transfer of the battle are not reported. It is interesting that on the same day Vasily Lomachenko (11-1, 9 KOs) will return to the ring, who will unite the belts in lightweight.
