The 36-year old Argentinian boxer is returning to the ring after a 5-year retirement. "Chino" is a welterweight fighter with a reputation for excellence. He is a world champion in his weight.

Marcos "Chino" Maidana is a favorite of mine because he has fought as a welterweight and lightweight and I can relate as a small guy. I fought as a welterweight in martial arts and boxing in my Dojo and can appreciate the skill needed to do so. Marcos and I are roughly the same age, and I feel that the endurance needed to fight professionally is impressive. When you step into the ring it's essentially the best workout you can get.

When Marcos returns, he has signed a deal with Premier Boxing Champions and will face Broner. This is going to be fun to watch, and my money is on "Chino" any day of the week. Much respect.
